01 · The challenge
Understanding how platforms like Airbnb work under the hood by building every piece from scratch. And doing it in honour of Jodie, my loyal companion.
02 · The solution
A full-stack booking platform with Angular, TypeScript and MongoDB on top of my own REST API: availability management, calendar, date and service selection, and instant email confirmation.
03 · Lesson learned
Designing a REST API with its consumers in mind, and seeing how front end, back end and database fit together in a complete product.
