01 · The challenge
GitHub metrics tend to be dry. I wanted them to be understood at a glance and, above all, remembered.
02 · The solution
A 3D website built with Three.js and vanilla JavaScript, no frameworks. Each repository is a planet: code size sets its radius, commits its orbital speed, branches are moons, PRs are rockets and forks are space stations. A mathematical mapping translates metrics into visual properties in real time.
03 · Lesson learned
Balancing visual complexity with performance, and seeing how good data visualisation makes technical information accessible and memorable.
